The Writer's of this Mountain Hut
My name is Elena and I was born in Udine, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy, in 1991.
I’ve always loved writing and my (not so secret) secret dream is to make a living as a writer, like Jessica Fletcher.
In some ways, I have made my dream come true because even if I don’t write novels (which are in my drawer anyway), words are my job.
I have a degree in Communication Sciences and since 2015 I have been working as a Marketing & Communication Specialist. I create content for social media, I write press releases, internal communications, and branding. What do I write about? Orthopedic implants. You better not need my company, in short.
The two words that describe me best are a dreamer and stubborn. When I put something in my head there is nothing that can move me, especially if the result depends on me only. I am so stubborn that for the sake of a book you may have heard of, Harry Potter, I learned English.
When I am not writing or reading I am walking around the mountains. Or dancing n a wooden floor with cowgirl boots on.
Since 2020 I am a FVG Social Ambassador.
I dream of a world where everyone says Mandi and where frico is as famous as pizza.

The Experience that changed my life
In 2018 I lived the experience that changed my life. I spent a week in a mountain hut on Monte Zoncolan. Although I already liked the mountains, I can undoubtedly say that this is the experience that made me fall in love with mountains and life in the mountains.
